Day 2: Welcome Message

As Acting Director for the Energy Directorate at Air Force Civil Engineer Center, Les Martin offers a unique perspective energy management, generation, distribution, and storage across Air Force installations. As Les departs from AFCEC and heads on to his next assignment, he leaves some parting words of wisdom. We thank Les for his leadership and dedication to the Air Force.

Day 1: Session 4: Resilient Construction Standards

In the wake of extreme weather events such as Hurricane Michael and Super Storm Sandy, it is clear that new design standards and innovative building solutions are needed to protect military installations from the impacts of climate change. This session covers the new building requirements and new methods of fortified construction.
